Hi, I'm Adrian Cabrera, I use He/Him pronouns and I am a native of the San Fernando Valley in Los Angeles County, CA. I am a second-year business administration major with a concentration in Sports Business.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official?
Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.

Three key issues that I’ve noticed are the budgeting process for student clubs and organizations, the representation of the cultural student organizations, and student safety on and near campus. I believe to improve the current budget process; students must have the ability to vote on where their money is allocated so that their preferences are considered. Cultural organizations are how many students from all different backgrounds come to express themselves, if elected I will support their financial needs when it comes to their budgets for the year. Prioritizing student safety on campus, I will support the push for more blue lights on campus and reliable transportation to medical services.

Why are you running?

I am passionate about student voices, diversity, and well-being all being supported. As a senator, I am committed to addressing these concerns and promoting a campus environment that values student input, celebrates diversity, and prioritizes the well-being of all individuals.
