I'm a dedicated Finance major at the University of Oregon, born just a couple hours away in Cornelius. As a freshman, my journey has just begun, yet my roots in this community run deep. My mission is to bring fresh perspectives and innovative financial strategies to the table. Let's invest in our state's future together
What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official?
Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.
Inclusion is crucial; I aim to enhance diversity on campus by fostering cultural events and dialogues, supporting minority groups, and ensuring representation in student governance. Improving dining means more than just quality food; it's about affordability and dietary inclusiveness. I plan to negotiate with service providers to expand healthy, cost-effective options for all dietary needs. For opportunities, I will work to bridge the gap between classroom theory and practical application by advocating for more internships and mentorship programs that align with our diverse academic pursuits. Empowering students with real-world skills is imperative for post-graduate success.
Why are you running?
Running for senate as a freshman, I bring a fresh perspective and a voice for the new generation on campus. With a background in stock market trading, I offer valuable skills in strategic thinking and financial acumen. I aim to bridge gaps, ensuring that decisions reflect our collective interests and empower every student with opportunities to thrive academically and financially. Together, we can chart a progressive course for our university's future.
