I use he/him pronouns and am from Austin, Texas. I am a second year student at UO and am majoring in Earth Science.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus and hope to improve for students as an elected official? Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.

As an elected official one of the key issues I hope to improve on campus is our environmental impact as a school, we have so much waste both in trash and food that can be either eliminated (for example single use packaging in dining) or used to provide for people experiencing food insecurity (for example the extensive amount of food waste also in dining). Another key issue is affordable housing, with the right campaign movement we can fight for more publicly funded housing or we can get more student owned co-op housing through state grants. A final key issue is more rights and opportunities for student workers on campus, such as providing more work study opportunities (for example within student organizations).

Why are you running?

I am running because I want ASUO to make decisions that provide as many resources as possible to those on campus that need it the most. I do not want costs to be cut through decreasing these resources that really matter and make a difference to students in order to save the school money and I hope that I can provide a vote in favor of the student population.
