My pronouns are He/Him/His. I am a junior from Portland, Oregon currently studying economics.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official?
Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it. 

1. An issue that I've noticed on campus is that some minority students have had a hard time finding safe spaces for students with similar backgrounds. I would like to help improve this issue by putting a bigger emphasis on showcasing the multiple safe spaces on campus for minorities such as the BCC, MCC, and Mills international center 2. I believe textbook prices are a major issue in most classes. A solution to this is advising professors to find cheaper alternatives to using expensive textbooks because some students do not have the funds to afford the course material. 3.I believe that the need for physical Iclickers is redundant. Enforcing all professors to use physical Iclickers puts an unnecessary burden on students to buy them

Why are you running?

After three years on campus I feel that there are still ways to improve campus life for minority students and I would like to have a hand in helping that shift.
