Hi my name is Gabe(he/him) and I'm from Portland I am currently a junior studying Biology at the UO.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official?
Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it. 

1) Food pricing and healthy options UO Should provide more healthy food and drink options in their markets and in the emu. The addition of crumble cookie is a bad financial and health choice. Mark up prices for certain foods and drinks in the markets are ridiculous. EBT should be allowed at the markets 2) Making clubs more accessible Starting or creating a club should not be as difficult as it is. Also having a readily visible club advertisement wall would be great 3) Transparency within ASUO There should be better connection inclusion and communication between the people who have control over the budget and people who use the budget.

Why are you running?

I'm running because I believe that my ideas in communication and collection with others will allow more voices and ideas to be considered , promote fairness and transparency, and will be efficient in application.
