My name is Joseph Novak He Him I am a first year poli-sci student. I have lived in Eugene for the past 5 years.
What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official? Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.
Some issues that I have experienced are financial struggles for approvals on club budgets, and I have also noticed a lack of knowledge from students about ASUO and the history of their power. I plan to strengthen trust with clubs and improving efficiency and effectiveness with approving club budgets, and I plan to work with my slate to create a new historian position. And start the process of regaining control over the EMU.
Why are you running?
I am running to improve ASUO relations with students and student organizations. I am running to garner change in ASUO that will give more power over the EMU first and hopefully more buildings.
