Tell us about yourself.

My name is Noah Solis (he/him), I am a Business Major concentrating in Marketing and minoring in Legal Studies. I am from Canoga Park, CA and currently a Junior at UO.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus and hope to improve for students as an elected official? Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.

1. Find a way for there to be a universal allowance of absences for all majors/departments so students can go on school-sanctioned trips without having their professors dictate whether or not they can participate in them. 2. Find a way to better connect our students with ASUO, the name rings a bell but students are unaware of who is on the board. 3. Foster a community amongst students across all departments and rejuvenate school spirit on campus

Why are you running?

I am running to help create a better environment on campus. Currently, I feel there is a lack of representation of students on campus and want to make it a year-round thing, not just a once in a while thing.
