Tell us about yourself.

She/Her/Hers Santa Ynez, California I am a Sophomore I am on a Pre-Law track, majoring in English and minoring in legal studies.

What are the three key issues that you've noticed on campus that you hope to improve for students as an elected official?
Please list each issue and briefly explain how you hope to improve it.

Food Insecurity: A permanent food pantry on campus will provide relief for students currently struggling with food instability. In providing this resource, we can remove an influential obstacle for student success. Inequitable funding of Student Organizations: As a member of student government, one of my responsibilities will be the care of student organizations and their needs. To improve this relationship, I will work to stream line the funding request process and improve accessibility to student government support. Disconnect between the student government and our student body: By expanding the discourse between students and their representatives, I will work to redirect our focus to reflect the needs of students.

Why are you running?

I am running to represent student voices in student government discourse. My goal is to rebuild a student government which understands the needs of their constituents, and works toward projects with a direct impact on campus. As a member of the student government, I will be a resource for every student. Whether that means walking with you to the financial aid office in LSC, or mediating a meeting in your professor's office hours.
