Why are you running in the ASUO Election?
I am hoping to contribute and improve our university community for all. As a PPPM Major, government work and collaboration with diverse individuals aligns greatly with my skills and career goals. I hope to share and develop ideas as I work to progressively better our community while filling the duties of my position to the fullest extent.
As one of the most front facing parts of ASUO, how do you plan on making these interactions as positive as possible for students
I will always put my best face forward. As I love this university, I will act out this affection in my position, sharing my positive energy as the face of my constituents. I will be an accessible person to talk to, question or work with. I will share my energy without preference or discrimination and ensure my service is equitable and just.
How are you connected to the academic programs you represent? How will you utilize these connections to best represent students?
I am very well integrated with PPPM. As aforementioned, I am entering the Accelerated Masters of Community and Regional Planning program next term, I am a leader of the student group LiveMove, and am well connected with students in my program across disciplines and academic year. I will be able to easily connect with and share developments with those I represent. I am a known face that others will feel comfortable talking to and recognize.
